What's the catch?
There isn't one, and we know that's what someone with a catch would say, so here's the actual deal. We build the site first because it's the only honest way to sell one: you judge the finished thing on your own phone, not a promise. If you don't like it, nothing happens and nobody chases you. If you do, £395 goes through Stripe, the same checkout the big shops use, and you still have seven days to change your mind and get it back.
Why is it so cheap?
Because we don't start from a blank page. Your Google listing already says what you do, where you do it and what your customers think. We build from that, with pictures that suit your trade, and swap in your own photos and logo when you send them. No meetings, no phone calls, no six-week project. That's where the money goes on a normal website, and we've cut it out.
Is there a contract?
No minimum term. The £29 a month covers your hosting, your domain, weekly review updates and two small changes a month, and you can cancel it yourself from your billing page whenever you like. Founder price: your £29 never goes up.
Who owns the domain?
You do. We register your .co.uk in your name, and if you ever leave, it goes with you for nothing. If you already own one, we point it at the new site and never need to touch it.
I've already got a website. Any use to me?
Possibly. If it's slow, looks like 2012, or you're paying more than £29 a month for something you can't change, then yes. Put your details down and say so in the box; we'll build the new one on a temporary address, nothing of yours goes off, and you compare them side by side.
Why won't you ring me?
Because you're on a roof, in a loft or halfway through a customer's kitchen, and a sales call is the last thing you need. Everything is by message or email, so you answer when it suits you, from the van if you like. We never make sales calls, to you or to anyone.

Who you're dealing with
A bloke in South Croydon, not a call centre
Who: Chargehand is run by Dan Wiggs, a sole trader in South Croydon. It started in 2026, so you'd be one of the first local building firms on it, and the founder price stays with you.
Payments: taken by Stripe, the checkout used by household-name retailers. We never see your card details, and you have seven days to change your mind.
Your data: we are registered with the ICO, registration number ZC254972. Our privacy notice says exactly what we keep.
Hosting: Netlify, on their worldwide network, with the security certificate included. Your site loads in well under a second, and we test it before you see it.
